MEMBERSHIP TERMS & CONDITIONS

By becoming a member of the Saskatchewan Soil Conservation Association (SaskSoil), you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Membership Eligibility

  • Full Membership is available to bona fide farmers or farming units who support the goals of SaskSoil.

  • Associate Membership is available to students and individuals who are not actively farming but wish to support soil health initiatives.

  • Corporate Membership is open to organizations or businesses that support SaskSoil’s mission.

2. Membership Term

  • All memberships are valid for one calendar year from the date of purchase unless otherwise specified.

  • Memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable.

3. Member Rights

  • Full Members are entitled to vote at annual general meetings and are eligible to serve on the Board of Directors and hold executive positions.

  • Associate and Corporate Members may attend meetings and events but do not have voting rights.

4. Member Benefits

Benefits may include:

  • Newsletter subscriptions

  • Access to member-only resources and peer networks

  • Discounts or early access to events and programming

  • Early Participation or advanced eligibility in select funding programs (e.g., MARS, GreenStart)

 

SaskSoil reserves the right to update the list of member benefits at any time.

5. Code of Conduct

Members are expected to:

  • Support SaskSoil’s mission to advance sustainable agricultural systems

  • Treat fellow members and staff with respect and professionalism

  • Refrain from using SaskSoil events, platforms, or programs for personal promotion unrelated to soil health or conservation

 

SaskSoil reserves the right to revoke membership for conduct that violates these principles.

6. Privacy

Member contact information will be used solely for SaskSoil communications and will not be shared externally without consent.
