SaskSoil is seeking a reliable and organized Event Coordinator to support the delivery of 4–6 field days and our booth at Ag in Motion for 2026. You’ll play a key role in making sure events run smoothly, attendees feel welcomed, and SaskSoil shows up professionally in every setting.

About the Role

This is a contract, seasonal position supporting 4–6 field days plus our booth at Ag in Motion. Travel across Saskatchewan is required, with mileage calculated from your home base.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in agricultural environments, engaging with producers and stakeholders, and ensuring events run smoothly from setup to wrap-up. The Event Coordinator plays a key role in on-site logistics, planning and participant experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Coordinating event setup and teardown on-site

  • Managing registration and attendee check-in

  • Supporting event hosting (introducing MCs and speakers)

  • Overseeing catering and lunch logistics

  • Creating and posting live social media content during events

  • Supporting participant engagement and overall event flow

  • Distributing and collecting post-event surveys and feedback

What We’re Looking For

  • Confident communication and comfort speaking in front of groups

  • Experience in agriculture, events, extension or outreach is an asset

  • Ability to capture and post content on social media in real time

  • Comfortable working outdoors in fast-paced, unpredictable environments

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel

What Success Looks Like

You represent SaskSoil with professionalism and a positive attitude, and adapt in dynamic event settings. You’re independent, solutions-focused, and capable of keeping events running smoothly without needing constant direction.

You’re also okay with early mornings, long days, and the occasional “well, that didn’t go as planned” moment that comes with outdoor events. Welcome to agriculture.
