About this Event
SaskSoil & SAW invite you to a full-day, in-person workshop exploring the power of cover cropping to improve soil health and farm resilience.

Our keynote speaker, Joel Williams, is an independent plant and soil health educator and consultant who has worked across Australia, Europe, and Canada. With expertise in agroecology, plant nutrition, and plant-soil microbiomes, Joel brings both a global perspective and practical insights for developing sustainable production systems. He holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Science from Australia and an MSc in Food Policy from the UK, where he examined barriers and opportunities for intercropping adoption. Joel’s passion for teaching and ability to blend science with practice has made him a sought-after lecturer for farming audiences worldwide.
Alongside Joel, you’ll also hear from two local producers sharing their on-farm cover cropping experiences.
